Frangipanis, aka Plumeria, are the flowers of the
tropics. They are the custom blooms used in the Hawaiian
Leis. Interestingly, they are actually a desert plant
and survive well only when in dry sandy soil. This
specimen resides in Mangrove Cay, Andros, Bahamas, at
the Bain Airport.
